The appearance of such hybrid “monster” as Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has seriously puzzled automotive community. On the one hand, Outlander PHEV is a huge SUV with a truly inspiring appearance, and on the other – a car with a hybrid engine. Now, it’s turn to surprise the community passed to the “heir”. The novelty was shown in Frankfurt and has caused a storm of emotions. Home sales will begin in the end of this 2016.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has the appearance that meets all the canons of Dynamic Shield style. It is immediately evident by X-shaped grille with chrome surround and aggressive cutouts of forward headlamps.
Compared to its predecessor, comfort of the cabin has significantly improved. Engineers have increased its width, and seriously work on vibration and noise isolation of the SUV.
Outlander PHEV 2017 has a proprietary hybrid system working under the hood, consisting of three engines: a gasoline internal combustion engine with capacity of 121 hp, as well as two electromotors of 86 hp each. The first is responsible for the off-road front axle, and the other two – for the rear.
In general, the model of 2017 has been very promising. We wonder, will Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV gain the popularity?
