New characters will debut in the second season of “Flash”


Casting for the second season of TV comic strip “Flash” by The CW channel continues. According to the publication ComingSoon, the show will have two new characters – a superhero and supervillain.

Aspiring actress Violet Bean is confirmed for the role of Jesse Quick. In the literature source Jesse is the daughter of Johnny Quick. In the series, she will appear as a “smart and quirky college student” who “finds herself embroiled in the battle between the Flash and the main villain of the second season, Zoom”.


Demore Barnes (12 Monkeys) will play a businessman Henry Hewitt, known as the villain Tokamak. In the comics, the character has the ability to absorb energy. In the series, he is described as “charming but arrogant scientist, who also was affected by explosion which has created Flash. When Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) hires him to the team of S.T.A.R. Laboratory, Hewitt takes the opportunity to become what he is destined to be – a meta-human”.

Also, there is evidence that Malese Jow will return in a few episodes of the second season in the image of Linda Park. Recall that in the coming season will be a few new characters, including Wally West (Keinan Lonsdale), Lewis Snart (Michael Ironside) and Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears).

The premiere of the second season of “Flash” will be held on October 6, 2015.
