The third season of popular political thriller “House of Cards” leaked and became available for viewing at Netflix on Wednesday afternoon (February 11) instead of planned release on February 27. It was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Netflix has stated that the reason of leakage became the technical error: “Due to the technical clash some Frank Underwood fans got the opportunity to see their hero. He will be back to Netflix on February 27”.
For twenty minutes the homepage of the political thriller showed that the third season – instead of the second – is available for viewing. According to the information on user’s accounts, ten out of thirteen episodes of the third season were available for viewing. Then the situation was fixed, and an amusing message appeared on the serial Twitter page: “This is Washington. There’s always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27”.
We recall that by the third season Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwoods (Robin Wright) achieved their intended objective, and Spacey became the 2015 Golden Globes award winner for his role in the serial.
